Privacy Policy

What the service handles

When you connect a shop, Etsy supplies authorization tokens and shop identifiers. The service stores the Etsy access and refresh tokens, your Etsy user ID, shop ID and name, and authorization information needed to keep the connection working. The OAuth provider encrypts application properties stored in Cloudflare Workers KV.

When you ask for a task, the service requests relevant listing or order data from Etsy and returns it to your connected MCP client, such as ChatGPT or Claude. Order responses may include buyer information that Etsy permits for the authorized seller. Uploaded listing images are sent to Etsy. The service does not maintain a separate order, buyer, listing, or image database.

Why and with whom

These data are used to authenticate your shop and carry out the specific shop-management requests you make. Cloudflare hosts the service and authorization storage. Etsy supplies and receives shop data. Tool responses are sent to the MCP client you connect; its handling of chat and tool content is governed by its own terms and privacy settings.

Retention and deletion

Authorization records are retained while a connection is active, subject to the provider's expiry rules. You can use the assistant's disconnect action to revoke this service's authorization grants for your Etsy account; this removes its stored Etsy token properties. Because Cloudflare KV is eventually consistent, a recently removed record may remain briefly visible in some locations. You should also remove the connector in your MCP client and revoke the app in Etsy account settings. Contact us if you cannot disconnect or want help with a deletion request. Deleting this service's records does not delete data held independently by Etsy or your MCP client.

Security and logs

The service uses seller-specific authorization and checks shop ownership before changing listings or images. Cloudflare observability may retain request metadata and error information for operations and troubleshooting. Do not send sensitive credentials in support messages or chat.
