Terms of Service

Effective October 11, 2026. Akins Shop Assistant is a free, independent tool published by Akin's. By connecting and using it, you authorize the service to access your Etsy seller data and carry out the requests you approve within the permissions granted by Etsy.

Your responsibilities

Use the assistant only for a shop you are authorized to manage. Review proposed listings, edits, and images before approving them. You remain responsible for your listings, orders, buyer communications, legal obligations, and compliance with Etsy's rules. Do not use the service to access another seller's private data.

Service limits

The assistant can view authorized shop data and create or change supported listings. Creating a draft does not publish it. Publishing, permanent listing deletion, and marking an order shipped must be done in Etsy Shop Manager. It cannot process payments, complete checkout, message buyers, or guarantee sales. Features depend on Etsy API permissions, MCP client capabilities, and availability. Etsy, Cloudflare, ChatGPT, and Claude are separate services with their own terms.

Availability and changes

The service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or error-free output. We may change or discontinue features when necessary; material changes to these terms will be posted here. You may stop using the service and disconnect your shop at any time as described on the Support page.
